The townhouse we bought as a couple
A year and a half ago my wife and I moved into our first townhouse and we were very happy. This was the very first time we owned any sort of real estate and we were very excited about having our own place. In the past we had trouble with some financing simply because my wife is self-employed and makes the majority of the money in our household. Fortunately for us she has a very viable business that produces enough income and over a series of years I guess we looked like a good bet for a mortgage. The real estate agent/broker we hired took care of all the conveyancing and turned out to be a very nice person.
