Are All Hyips Just Scams?
HYIP stands for high-yield investment program, which is an investment scam. These programs have been around for years and years. However, they are growing at a rapid rate with the internet being so accessible. Most HYIPs promise high percentage returns on any amount of investment. Many of the people that have invested in Hyips have lost thousands of dollars. The programs look legit and show proof of payment, which is truthful. However, they can not sustain payments for long periods of time. They eventually run out of money, and can no longer pay their investors. They shut down, and all those that had invested are stuck with all the losses. They do not recover the money that they had invested.
